About Ed Sheeran
Early life
Edward Christopher Sheeran was born on 17 February 1991 in Halifax, West Yorkshire. His early childhood home was on Birchcliffe Road in nearby Hebden Bridge. His father, John, was a curator at Cartwright Hall in Bradford, and his mother, Imogen, worked at Manchester City Art Gallery.
Right now
He remarked that although he had never intended to be an activist musician, he found himself entangled in "the most complex political issue on the planet". He described the 7 October attacks in Israel and at the Nova music festival as horrific, stating that they "compounded centuries of Jewish pain".
