Early life
Michael Eugene Archer was born in the Southside area of Richmond, Virginia, on February 11, 1974. He grew up in a Pentecostal family and played piano at the church where his father was a preacher. His musical talents were discovered very early as a child. He was three when he was spotted by his 10-year-old brother playing the house piano.
